The new Upsilon Acrux album, "Radian Futura" has just been released on CD and through zero coincidence my painting of the same name graces the front cover.
It's a lovely package with a great painting by Allison Schulnik on the back cover, a drawn portrait of the band by drummer Chris Meszler, and excellent music. I love this band. They're just about to head out on a tour of the US this summer and Europe in the fall. Check out their scheduled dates at www.myspace.com/upsilonacrux to see if you can catch a show. If in attendance, you might be able to get your hands on a new t-shirt featuring a drawing of mine (see below). I am also told that Radian Futura on vinyl is coming soon.
