Junk History and The Ulysses Guide to the LA River - Feb 13

Study hard and get all your homework done, its all happening at once.  Junk History happens Saturday. Below is a quick peek at the other big piece. So far its titled "Pastoral in a Future Passed".  I got a studio visit yesterday from Jack Muramatsu from the Daily DuJour blog.  The results can be found here.


If you're going to be in southern California on Saturday then plunge yourself face first into the LA River show at the Pasadena Museum of California Art.

I'll leave it to Ako Castuera's blurb to convince you to go.

"It's best to be prepared. An amazing AMAZING installation at Pasadena Museum of California Art opens this Saturday night. Did you know they've rebuilt part of the river inside the museum? This show looks SO GOOD our heads might explode, and those of us who don't crap our pants will be sliding around in brains and st...uff, trying to catch a glimpse of the wonderful artwork while the pants shitters strip and begin wrestling. I'm saying this because I want you to be there, but I don't want to get pinkeye, or see my friends covered in feces, and I want you to bring your kids too. But please come prepared to have your mind blown without making a mess."

Clearly, this is not to be missed. Sadly, I am.  I did get a chance to see installation in progress last week--it was already looking incredible.
