Giant Robot Biennale Fallout

The Giant Robot 15 year anniversary show opened with a big party and huge crowds at the Japanese American National Museum.  I am only now processing the event, and have concluded that it was fun.  I grinned happily through it on just about 12 minutes of sleep from the night before and therefore remember it as a series of handshakes and hallucinations.  Highlights included Eric Nakamura's mom telling me that she loved my art, my Uncle showing up unexpectedly from out of town, and Ako's most fervent wish coming true: after a few missed opportunities, she finally got to meet the heroic and gracious George Takei.
