Life is collapsing in on itself.

Last year Joe To and I were hired for the largest and most surreal illustration job of our short lives. We were asked to loosely approximate Dave Choe's Facebook office murals (early designs were rejected as being "too near the originals") for the sets of the movie "The Social Network". Look for our blurry Choe-hackery in the deep backround of the office scenes. The film opens this Friday, October 1st.  Thanks also go out to Krys Chang who put in some long days of stressful painting under serious time constraints.

Dirty Hands Screening in New York this Sunday Afternoon

Posted by admin on September 17, 2010

One night Harry Kim came over to my house with a bottle of sake and a bottle of scotch, made me drink it all, and then filmed me while I nattered on for hours about old times. As a result, I show up in the movie he directed, "Dirty Hands: The Art and Crimes of David Choe", as an alcohol swollen talking head for just under 2 seconds.  The rest of the movie also qualifies as equally good to way better. It screens at the Anthology Film Archives in New York City on Sunday, September 19th at 3pm. Today's top entertainers, Dave and Harry, will be there with autographed posters and autographed pre-sale of the DVD box set.
